Under the overall leadership of the school's Party committee, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, leveraging its professional characteristics and talent advantages, with a strong sense of political responsibility and historical mission, undertook and successfully completed the design task of the performance costumes and viewing gift packages for the university choir.

The design team closely adhered to the theme of "Remembering history, honoring martyrs, cherishing peace, and creating the future", and in line with the requirements of showcasing the might of the nation and the military and creating a solemn and dignified atmosphere, meticulously crafted the "Iron Blood Gray and Blue" choir performance costumes and the "Peace 80" commemorative conference viewing package. With a distinct visual language and profound historical commemorative significance, they carried forward the spirit of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Professor Zou You, the vice dean, served as the head of the design team and carried out the design work with the theme of "United as One". After 57 days and multiple reviews, two pairs of conductor uniforms, two pairs of choir member uniforms, and one pair of men's and one pair of women's shoes were finally determined from nearly 500 designs in five groups.

The design team strived for excellence and specially went to Shandong Dishang Group and Kabin Clothing Co., Ltd. to communicate on the development of sample garments, shoes and training suits. Many teachers were stationed on the production front line, working day and night with the enterprise technicians to complete the selection of various fabrics, color printing and adjustment, as well as multiple rounds of sample garment pattern correction and process detail optimization. Within two weeks, the research and development tasks of the first batch of over 30 sample garments were completed, and ultimately received recognition from the command center, leaders of Beijing Municipality and central leaders.

Guo Ruiliang, the Party Secretary of the College of Clothing Art and Engineering, took the lead in forming a service and support team. They closely collaborated with the production enterprises and formulated meticulous and reliable implementation plans for each link, from the body measurements of the participants, the matching of clothing and footwear numbers, to packaging, transportation, storage, distribution and exchange. They completed the body measurements of all the participating students within two weeks. We have achieved "individual measurement and individual cutting" for over 3,000 sets of clothing. The team has been constantly optimizing the aesthetics, comfort, practicality, environmental friendliness and technological content of categories such as clothing, shoes and belts, and has established an efficient distribution and exchange mechanism. All distribution work was successfully completed on August 22nd.

This design transforms the historical memory of "united as one" into a simple and solemn contemporary language, interpreting the concepts of "unity, peace and coexistence", echoing the idea of "a community with a shared future for mankind", and conveys emotions through clothing, highlighting the integration of art and mission.
